What are our services like?

You will find our worship gatherings welcoming to people of all ages.

Our usual Sunday morning gathering begins at 10:30 AM and concludes around 11:45 AM.

Our sermons are what is called exegetical style meaning we preach using whole passages of Scripture and allow God's Word to speak to our life and culture/society around us.

We have a blend of contemporary music including old hymns and current worship songs to help us focus on Jesus.

We offer connect groups that meet from 9:30 to 10:15 to help people connect with God's Word and others. These groups are based on age and stage of life. During this time we also offer Sunday School and nursery care for children up to Middle and High School students.

What should I wear?

At Lakeside, you will see people in anything from shorts and t-shirts to business casual. We strive to not focus on what you wear but on how we can help lead you closer to Jesus.

Is there something for my kids?

Yes, there is definitely something for your children.

We offer nursery for infants who need to be held, allowed to nap, and crawl around as well as a place for your toddlers to move around and get energy out while you join in the worship gathering.

There is a preschool children's church for children 3 to 5 years old who have not yet begun kindergarten.

We also offer children's church for elementary age children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Elementary children begin the worship gathering in the sanctuary with the adults before being released after the worship songs are complete.

When you check your child in at our check-in station in the foyer of our sanctuary, a label will print out with your child's name on it along with a security code that will also print out on a label for you as the parent to keep. The code matches you with your child so no one else can pick them up. Your phone number will also print out on the label in case we need to contact you during the service for some reason.

You can be assured we will do everything we can to keep your child safe while they learn about Jesus until you pick them up.

You are also welcome to keep your child with you in the worship gathering if you so choose.
